The Bright Side of Pakistan

Pakistan Flag

Almost on every platform the down side of Pakistan is highlighted and shown as if this country is merely a lost cause. So I have decided to shine a little light on the matter and talk about the bright side of Pakistan. Before that, it’s important that you understand what Pakistan is. Pakistan is not just the name of a piece of land, rather, it’s a collection of people, traditions, cultures and just a whole bunch of love. We, as proud citizens of Pakistan, are together, as one, known as Pakistan. Individually we are nothing but when we come together under one flag and form one nation, we become Pakistan. In over 70 years, Pakistan has accomplished a lot, granted there is room for improvement but that does not mean that the accomplishments should not be recognized.

Achievements

The biggest achievement so far is that Pakistan is the first Muslim country to attain nuclear power. Furthermore, it has 14 ordinance factories and here’s a fun fact, these factories were built from scratch. As you all might know we love our army immensely, but did you know that Pakistan has the 6th largest military forces in the World. You may think it stops there but no, Pakistan also has one of the best air force pilots in the world. Not only that, it has also advanced impeccably in the field of technology and many more.

Era of Modern Technology

As this is an era of modern technology, we are not behind anyone. IT sector is expanding exponentially in Pakistan, producing more than 10,000 IT graduates in a year. Wow! now that’s a lot of talented people. I’m just giving the details of a few fields, but it does not just end there. Pakistanis are known throughout the world as one of the most talented people.

Irrigation in Pakistan

Hunza Valley

Hunza Valley

Pakistan boasts world’s largest irrigation network. The advancement of the water system framework is one of the significant accomplishment of Pakistani specialist engineers. This irrigation gives water to 90% of the rural land in Pakistan which adds up to a territory of 14.4 million hectares. Now those are some high statistics.

Beauty of Pakistan

Islambad

Not only are we hard workers but we are beautiful too. Islamabad (the capital of Pakistan) is known as the 2nd most beautiful capital in the world. Moreover there are places like Swat, Naran, Kaghan, Ziarat, fairy meadows etc which can just sweep you off your feet and take you to heaven. The beauty of Hunza Valley is described in the most beautiful manner here:

Now believe me when i tell you, this isn’t even half of the things Pakistan has accomplished over the years. Everything in life has its ups and downs, we, as Pakistanis should focus on the bright side of Pakistan and not point to the down side. Instead of looking at all the things that still need improvement, look at the things that are improved. Aim for a better future not a bitter one. Spread love not hate.

Summary: The down side of Pakistan is highlighted almost everywhere. So i'm gonna do something different, I'm going to tell you about the bright side of Pakistan. We as Pakistani and the blood of Pakistan have improved our nation for the betterment in a very short amount of time. So focus on the things we have done, not the things we haven't.

Beautiful Pakistan
