Beauty bloggers have done it again. Just as we were wrapping our heads around how to make our eyebrow game strong, makeup artists up and changed the rules of the game altogether. Thank you very much.
How it started:
It all began in July when a makeup blogger Claudia.W posted a picture of her take on the eyebrow trend. Behold, wavy eyebrows.
Steadily beauty bloggers picked up the new style and began to experiment the so-called trend. Every other hour a new post pops up on Instagram containing a variation of the trend.
Even twitter is abuzz with it. But just not in the same way. People have taken to twitter to show what they really think about it. It has been pegged as downright ridiculous. There is an outburst of tweets making fun of this new style.

There is a heated debate going on all over the internet discussing the fate of this new style. Many are hoping just like the feather eyebrows trend this too will fade away soon. The New York post has quoted it to be “the stupidest trend yet.” While the Toronto Sun has dubbed it as “the newest dumb beauty trend”
As though people aren’t confusing enough we will now be left guessing there true expressions. The trend is also off to a slow start in Pakistan. The general populace does not seem very eager and it is being met with a lot of apprehension. After all no one wants to turn up at an event looking confused and flustered (that’s what wiggly brows make u look like). One can only imagine what our beloved desi aunties will say for such an about turn from the norm.

The new trend begs the question whether only looking up to date matters or should being comfortable in one’s own skin be the determining factor of a person’s appearance. This just goes to show that trends and styles will keep on coming by the dozens. But one must always gauge whether it will suit or not before following it blindly. It is not only important to look good but to feel good too. So ladies the responsibility falls upon our shoulders to judge for ourselves.
The response to this new fiasco being more negative than positive there is a fat chance it soon would be forgotten. Whew. But it still remains to be seen whether the trend is here to stay or will it soon be a thing of the past. One can only hope.
